Evaluation Reports of RPAP Initiatives

The RPAP follows a multi-year evaluation cycle of its major initiatives.

Two initiatives were evaluated in 2000-2001. These were the Additional Skills Training and the Enrichment programs. A further two initiatives were evaluated in 2001-2002, CME Programs for Rural Physicians and the Rural On-call Remuneration Program. Evaluations of the Rural Locum Program and the Rural Physician Spousal Network (RPSN) were conducted in 2002-2003.

Two pilot projects were evaluated in 2004, a Sabbatical Leave pilot and the Physician and Family Health Promotion pilot. The Sabbatical Leave Pilot evaluation report is now available, while the Physician and Family Health Promotion Pilot evaluation report will be available early in 2005.

An evaluation of the RPAP's Alberta Rural Family Medicine Network (ARFMN) was conducted in 2003-2004 and is available below.

Finally, the RPAP completed a repeat evaluation of the entire RPAP in the Spring of 2005. The 1996 and 2005 RPAP evaluation reports are provided below.
