Medical Information ServiceThe RPAP Medical Information Service provides Alberta's rural physicians with rapid access to reliable, up-to-date medical information. The available resources include a Virtual Library of on-line medical textbooks and journals, plus information about other Clinical Resources, Continuing Medical Education, Computer Technology, Office Management and Rural Practice.

Keep in Mind
CPSA Licensure - In order to retain their medical licence, all Alberta physicians
must be enrolled in either the Mainpro® program of the College of Family
Physicians of Canada or the MOC/CPD program of the Royal College of
Physicians and Surgeons of Canada by December 2009. Membership with
the Royal College or the College of Family Physicians of Canada is not
required to participate in CPD. Physicians are free to choose the
professional development program which best meets their needs.
UpToDate® eligible for Mainpro-M2 credits. In October of 2008, the CFPC determined that the use of UpToDate® is eligible for Mainpro-M2 credits (1.0 credit per hour of UpToDate® use)
